South African brown spirit vinegar
The traditional single vinegar of South African biltong. A 5% acetic spirit vinegar coloured and softened with caramel, so it carries a malty sweetness that plain distilled vinegar does not. Replaced the five-vinegar blend at revision 7. Not easily found outside South African importers in Europe.
